National Workshop on Development of De-centralized Tools & Technologies for Wool Processing

Since 2020, IIT Delhi RuTAG has been working on developing a small scale carding unit that can be installed in villages and is optimised for small scale production systems. A prototype of one such design is ready. Khamir and CfP have been closely working with IITD to help in the gathering requirements and the design and testing.
IIT Delhi RuTAG and CfP, with help from Khamir, are organising a 2-day workshop to discuss and take stock of the kind of technological solutions available for processing wool and critically analyse their appropriateness in small scale production systems.
